Haines
Packing Company is located at one of the oldest, if not the oldest,
cannery site in Alaska. We are situated just five and a half miles
from Haines, Alaska at the mouth of the Chilkat River in Northern
Lynn Canal. Haines Packing Company is family owned and operated.
We opened the doors to our new processing facility in 2007. Our
state-of-the-art equipment includes a fillet machine, pin bone
machine, and two Enviro-Pak smokers with a daily capacity of
eighteen hundred pounds. We utilize both a plate and blast freezer
to rapidly freeze any products for assured quality, and will vacuum
pack to meet your demands. We also have a mincer and a fish-skinning
machine available.
All five species of wild Alaska salmon are delivered fresh to our
dock by the local fishing fleet. The fish are processed immediately
because we demand quality and our products reflect that demand. If
you seek the best seafood you can purchase, you have made a good
decision in choosing our product. If you are interested in the
purchase of any of these fine Alaskan products, your order will be
shipped by Fed-Ex to any location, while larger orders are shipped
in freezer vans to Seattle, Washington and beyond.
